Michael Jackson vs. Prince : The Great Debate

You guys all come and go and no one ever leaves comments, so hopefully this can start some kind of heated debate. In one corner you have The King Of Pop and the world's most eccentric superstar Michael Jackson. In The other corner standing in at 5ft. tall , thy Purple Majesty Prince. Personal problems aside which of these two do you prefer? To help out I will refresh your minds of their genius with some albums.

While everyone likes to say this is Michael's best work I have to disagree and say anyone who's willing to look past Michael Jackson and embrace him for his music should check out his later stuff that is a lot more personal than his radio friendly albums of the 80s, and early 90s.


And from that Purple Dude, Dirty Mind. It's a pretty funky album what more could you expect from the guy?

    As an overall musician, Prince blows Jacko out of the water. Michael Jackson has tried so hard over the years to stay on the charts that he let everyone else write and produce his music, that it really has no soul to it anymore. Al the while Prince keeps writing, producing and performing his own music. Jackson is just getting by on his 80's hype.

    I always have and always will prefer Michael over Prince. Admittedly Prince has talent but i feel he is more weird even in his music. Mike rules.
